Ergonomics is the study of designing and arranging workspaces to enhance comfort, efficiency, and safety. By applying ergonomic principles, workplaces and daily activities can be optimized to reduce the risk of injury, prevent strain and fatigue, and improve overall productivity.

      • Set up the computer, desk, chair keyboard to suit the child’s height and advice the child on proper sitting posture to avoid repetitive usage injuries and muscle strain in arms, shoulders and back.

      • Take regular breaks when sitting for long periods while working on your digital devices.

      • Arrange the screen either at eye level or slightly lower and sit atleast 1 meter away from the screen take regular breaks.

      • Ensure that the main source of light is not shining on to your eyes or on the computer screen directly. Adjust the brightness and contrast of screen

      • For relaxing your eyes when looking at device screens follow 20-20-20 rule, which is for every 20 minutes of time spent looking at screen, take 20 second break, and look at something that is 20 feet away.

      • Follow a regular pattern of daily schedule and have scheduled times for usage of digital device to avoid wastage of time, anxiety and other related issues.

      • Avoid usage of digital devices immediately after waking up, during food time, bed time, family time and child’s home work time.

      • Encourage and Maintain real time human ties with people around you and strengthen bonds with family and friends. Limit and restrict your online presence and image building.
