A Recent incident

In a recent incident, a 48-year-old man from Kharghar, Mumbai, fell victim to an "Earn Big from Easy Tasks" scam. The scammers approached him with an offer to make quick money by completing simple online tasks. Initially, he received small payments for tasks like liking YouTube videos and writing reviews, which built his trust. However, as the scam progressed, he was asked to invest more money to unlock higher earning tasks. Over time, he transferred a total of ₹17.9 lakh to four different bank accounts, hoping for returns that never materialized. Realizing he had been scammed, he reported the incident to the Navi Mumbai cyber police, who have registered a case of cheating
